Linhof 612PC, 65/135, Case 9751117 - 1786123

This Linhof Technorama 612 PC, #9751117, is in good condition with some handling wear. I rate it cosmetically an (8+). The camera is in proper working order; film advances properly. The included Linhof optical viewfinder is a bit cloudy, but has clear framelines. The included Gossen Pilot 2 light meter, #9D33095, is also rated an (8+) and functions properly. This listing also includes a Schneider-Kreuznach 65mm f5.6 Super-Angulon MC Lens (#14318983) with a Copal No. 0 shutter and a Schneider-Kreuznach 135mm f5.6 Symmar-S MC Lens (#14329167) with a Compur 0 shutter, both in Linhof Technorama 612 PC mounts. The 65mm has coverage up to 4x5", a 105 degree angle of view, and a 170mm image circle at f22. The 135mm has coverage up to 4x5", a 70 degree angle of view, and a 190mm image circle at f22. The 135mm includes a threaded rubber lens hood. Both lenses include front caps. This listing also includes a center filter for the 65mm with a leather case, a neck strap, shutter release cable, and carrying case. No body caps or rear lens caps are included. Please refer to the photos for details.

Q&A

Q1: What is the Linhof 612PC?
A: It’s a precision panoramic roll‑film camera designed for 6×12 cm medium‑format photography with a built‑in 2:1 panoramic aspect ratio.

Q2: What film does it use?
A: Uses 120 roll film (6 frames per roll) or 220 roll film (12 frames).

Q3: What lenses are included in this kit?
A: Includes a Schneider‑Kreuznach 65 mm f/5.6 Super‑Angulon wide lens and a Schneider‑Kreuznach 135 mm f/5.6 Symmar‑S tele lens, both in Linhof 612PC mounts.

Q4: What does the 65 mm lens do?
A: The 65 mm gives a very wide field and large image circle suitable for expansive sweeping panoramas.

A: Provides a tighter, more traditional medium‑format perspective for landscape or portrait‑like wide shots.

Maintenance Tips
  • Keep bellows dust-free: Gently brush or use a blower to remove dust; check for light leaks regularly.
  • Lubricate moving parts: Apply minimal camera-grade grease to rails, focusing knobs, and hinges for smooth operation.
  • Protect lenses and ground glass: Always use lens caps and a microfiber cloth; avoid touching the ground glass with bare fingers.
  • Store in dry conditions: Wood, metal, and bellows are sensitive to humidity—use a padded case with silica gel.
  • Handle folding mechanism carefully: Avoid forcing when opening or closing to maintain alignment and prevent damage.
  • Check screws and mounts: Tighten periodically to ensure stability and precise movements.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures: Rapid heat or cold changes can warp components or affect bellows flexibility.
  • Use case for transport: Always store in the included case to prevent impacts and scratches.
